Coming home from the hospital and Benson's blessing- all within 3 hours!

The blessing was really wonderful. What a wonderful thing to have Daddy, and both Grandpas to be able to bless him and have Grandmas there. It was a very special day. I got home from the hospital at about 9am, we blessed Benson and the Grows had to leave by noon. Grandpa Mark got to stay one more day and we got to keep Grandma Jamie for almost a whole month! (That was a huge blessing also :))

more pictures of Benson's arrival and having grandparents here

Abigail loved all the attention, love and gifts that her Grandparents gave her while they were here. It was just such a special thing to have them here for Benson's birth and Benjamin's graduation.

Room next door

In our branch we had 4 women that were due within 4 days of each other and another friend due just a month later. Lucia and I were due within a week of each other. It was really fun to share the experience with them. Some of our really good friends here in Michigan had their baby 2 days before us at the same hospital. Our room was right next door to them. That was really cool. We are so grateful for all our friends!

Benjamin's Graduation from MSU

Our parent flew in for Benjamin to walk and get hooded at Michigan State for his PhD in Educational Psychology. There was excitement in the air. Even little Benson wanted to be there, so he came into the world the day before graduation. That meant that I got to wear a hospital gown and Benjamin got to wear his graduation gown. Very exciting! We are so proud of Benjamin and all the work that he has done. There is less than 2% of the United States' population that has a PhD. You are now part of that 2%, baby! (or you will be after you finish your dissertation)!
