Oh yeah, I forgot. We have a blog!

Emily and I have been pretty bad at keeping up our blog over the last year and a half, so we're making an effort to backfill what we have done over a number of postings. This first posting will give a summary of what we did in the last 6 months of 2011...

1. Last Summer I stained both the front and backyard decks. It made the house look a lot better, but it was hard work!

2. We planted 4 trees: Two maples, a honey locust and a redbud. One died. Guess which one:

3. Abigail had her 6th birthday. We invited friends to celebrate. The big event was to throw water balloons at Benjamin.

4. We were given this beautiful english cocker spaniel for free, but the next day the previous owners asked to have the dog back. We were VERY sad to give him up, but it was fun while it lasted!

Well, that concludes this posting. We'll try to get another one up tomorrow.
